I have had the bosch icon wipers for about 7 months and they are starting to streak i was wandering if i bought the bosch excel+ would they streak being brand new? Are they good wipers?
The Bosch brand wipers work good- for a limited time. Next time, buy the cheap ones and change them out when needed. You will save money in the long run.
They are good! How often do you clean your blades? You know that no matter the brand you are supposed to clean them as you wash your car right? If you have lots of dusts or sand in your area that will reduce the life of you blades as well.
I've tried the Bosch wipers twice, and I didn't get much out of them, either. They seem to chip/tear at the wiping surface pretty easily, particularly in the winter. Summer they hold up pretty nicely and clean excellent, but they just don't have the ice durability IMHO. Surprisingly, I've gotten better out of the Anco's full-replacement wipers (not just the replacement blades).
