Question:

Bought a former 2002 Dodge R/T Intrepid Police Cruiser?

Recently I bought a 2002 Intrepid at first I thought it was a regular crappy 2.7L but after taking it to the Mechanic to get a problem fixed i found out it was a former Police cruiser turned Civilian-All of the connections are still within‘ the car-It reads 150MPH (240 K) and has everything the police cruisers come installed with (Even came with a suspension system that I never seen before.) minus the sirens and compturs and all-I Even found spent bullet casings in the trunk (WTF Dealers really dont check their cars do they?) What i want to know is I heard Police cruisers have special Alternators that pump out more Watts than regular cars to power their sirens and computers-radios-etc could I power a sound system off that? Or do they have hidden amps within‘ the car?-If so where do i look? cause I found plenty of surprises already.

Answer:

They have bigger alternators, and no more lamps, just a possible wiring harness.
ok , sure you're being scammed. RPM is Revolutions consistent with Minute it particularly is what the engine exhibits on a tachometer. what share situations the engine makes a revolution each and every minute. i think of this guy is purely fishing. T E trial and blunder at your price. The engine must be positioned on the perfect tester to ascertain for codes. The code will direct the mechanic to the place the undertaking is it would be superb to take it to a Chrysler broker reason they might %. out the undertaking in many situations perfect away.
they have higher amp alternators on them and also power converters to make it be able to use more power, the converter im sure was removed though because they never let go of any of those, they didn't have hidden amps though not for the radio system, their base model cars with a lot of extra,s though,i use to own one of them that was bought at an auction up in kentucky and it drove really good,at 70 thousand miles though they was literally worn out ,good luck
