I just bought a bigger LCD monitor (19in) and the problem is, i don't actually have the best computer table, and the thing is shaking every time i type very fast or i move the mouse fast or I hit the computer table, my question is will it have any effect to the monitor in the long run?
Yes of course when you know all this then why do not you change the table?
No, but the shaking increases the risk of it falling from the table onto the floor.
There is absolutely NO risk in shaking a TFT monitor because TFT monitor lamps (CCFLs) do not have any hot filament that can tear up due to shaking. But there is a remote chance that some internal connectors may come loose in the long run, but that is completely hypothetical. So, you may not face any problem unless you are extremely unlucky. All monitor models pass rigorous flutter/vibration tests before they are released to the market. Otherwise they could not survive that trip on the back of a truck from San Fransisco to Miami.
