Question:

Braces Loose- Bracket seems to be broken?

I got my braces today and I noticed that the bracket ( small thing glued to the tooth) isn't glued. It is loose. I can spin it around, because it's so loose. It cannot come out because the rubber band is holding it in. Do I go to the dentist? Any suggestions?

Answer:

Its widespread, one among my brackets thoroughly got here out. Its ok, do not hardship, the orthodontist will restoration it. i recognize alot of those who've braces and their brackets of their braces got here off because they were ingesting sweet.
Absolutely go back to your orthodontist. It only takes a few minutes to re-glue one brace, but may put you behind if you don't get it fixed soon. Your teeth will not move as planned, and the loose bracket may also cause mouth irritation and sores.
Just call your orthodontist and make an appointment to go back in. It is very common for brackets to pop off or not stick intially - or a wire will pull too hard on a bracket - or something. It is normal to happen and don't worry, you probably didn't do anything to cause this to happen. Meanwhile, try and stay as comfortable as possible and get into the ortho asap. They will be able to fix it in a few minutes and you'll be on your way! Congrats on starting the process of changing your smile!
no, mine was loose also. u just have to try not to touch it. i had braces for 3 years.
