Question:

brass fittings on a copper faucet valve?

I read that mixing steel fittings onto copper causes corrosion . is brass alright to use when connecting copper valves and pipes?

Answer:

I work in a candle store. The flame/heat from several tea lights is NOT going to set off any fire alarms. There just is not enought heat coming from them. When you put the flame out- use water- just wet your fingers and pinch the flame out- there will be no smoke that way
Dry fitting means you connect all of the PVC pipes together BEFORE you glue them together to ensure the pipes and bends and connections are long enough.
