Question:

Broken Axle??!! Can someone help?

so i was driving in rain today and i went to turn at a light and i lost control of my car and my front passenger tired slammed into the curb. I was lucky enough to turn the car enough so that my tires didn‘t go over the curb but after that i drove up further to my gym that i was on my way to and the wheel felt like it kept on tirning the car to the right and the steering wheel felt like it was loose. my tire was partially flat when i checked it. is the just an alignment problem or is the axle on my car totaled?

Answer:

Chances are when your passenger tire slammed into the curb you may have damaged a few parts on your front axle and not the axle itself. From the way you described the incident, this occurred while you were turning. Turns typically are done at speeds around 15 mph or less; not enough to damage the axle itself. However, you could have damaged other parts connected to the front axle and should have them checked. The other parts could include the upper and lower ball-joints, tie rod and steering arm. These typically are what need replacing in addition to a new tire and wheel. You will also need a wheel alignment after all the repairs are completed. This repair could run into several hundreds of dollars
What you swing coach meant was Forged cavity back iron. They are cavity back but has a feel of a blade iron. When you struck them in the center, you feel a buttery sensation. Some samples irons in this category are: Mizuno MP-64 Nike VR Pro Combo Callaway X Forged Miura CB-501
Your best bet is to go to a good pro shop and get fitted, a lot golf stores like golfsmith and Carl's golf land are doing demo days and free club fitting, believe me even if you have to pay 100 bucks for it the fitting is worth.
I would say its most likely an alignment problem with some tire damage, but don't take my word for it. I would still get it looked at, it you run it on a bent axle Lord knows what damage you'll do. Do
Without knowing the model and year of your car I will assume that it was a front wheel drive vehicle. So there is no axle per se. Only rear wheel driven cars have axles. But from your description you must have really banged up your front end. You will probably need more than an alignment. Your whole front end (suspension, drive shaft, etc) will need to be checked.
