Question:

BS British Standards, free download or view online?

BS 1965 required. Know its to do with weldable pipe fittings etc but need the details etc.

Answer:

Definitely broke some safety laws, and I would go ahead and wash your debit card well, but the meat is perfectly safe to eat. You aren't going to contaminate raw meat with other things, you are going to contaminate other things with the raw meat. Cooking it will completely kill any germs. The debit card is your only real issue (thats nasty).
I'd play it safe. Well, it always depends on how intense the roller coasters you're planning to go on are. If you aren't much of a coaster person and are just planning on going on some on the smaller ones, then it shouldn't be much of a problem. However, if you are like me, and you love the gigantic coasters, I'd recommend getting some sort of fanny-pack or jacket with zipper pockets. There's a reason why theme parks say not to have any loose articles on rides. Gravity does not always agree with you.
He certainly did violate health safety laws. If you plan to continue patronizing his business, I would definitely request that he wear gloves when handling the meat, or find another butcher. You could be at risk by eating the meat, but if it is cooked well, that should destroy any surface bacteria. You may want to rinse the meat before cooking, but that could take some of the taste and juiciness from it. Observant Jewish people soak their meat before cooking to remove the blood from it, as part of the kosher process, but that does seem to make the meat less palatable. You might want to check with your local health department for further suggestions as to whether the handled meat is safe to eat, and/or the best way to prepare it
