What does it mean when in your Cadillac that is 1999 year shows up Service System Suspension ?

Answer:

First thing is clean the filters. Dirty filters can make a unit freeze up, Low on freon. Is the fan working. If not needs a new motorCheck and see if the unit behind filters is dirty of clogged up Clean. PS Sometimes its better to pay yourself than to pee off the landlord. He can raise rent that you pay for it in the end , and then some???

What kind of Cadillac?? Most often it is the rear level compressor. Can be height sensor or module or rear air shocks. Need to know what code it has
Likely a failing or failed sensor on the suspension system, In some cases the suspension system will shutdown making your car a low rider and almost unbearable to drive due to the lack of no suspension support. Have the vehicle looked at ASAP.
All of GM's Service XXXXX Soon indicators are just that. Indicators. If you have the original driver's manual, it will tell you all the maintenance intervals. It just means that according to the God GMC, at the particular mileage you just passed, you need to service your suspension. Once serviced, there is a procedure to tithe to the living God GMC by a combination of pressing the gas pedal to the floor 3 times then hitting the brake, then turning off the key for 10 seconds or some such procedure to satisfy the all seeing, all knowing God GMC. I have an 89 Pontiac Bonneville with a broken odometer that every new day I fire it up, it says Service Engine Soon. I have to press the gas to the floor 3 times. The message is gone for the day, but tomorrow it will come up again.
