Our mobile home park has in the last few months installed several speed bumps which my parents and I both agree seem a bit extreme. Their height is enough that to comfortably get over them, one must slow to a near stop, and in some places the speed bumps are placed no more than twenty feet from already existing ones. I would like to know, with source, what laws and or regulations (in California), if any, are there on speed bumps?
Well it sounds as if the job was done the way it should have been and tackling a tear out like that can be a project that could take you a few weekends to complete. To answer your second question should you hire someone to do the job? This would all depend on your skill level. An Easy way to DO-IT YOURSELF would be to use a saws-all and cut the bolts you'll be paying a contractor up to a grand to do exactly that.
