Question:

Camping on an island.?

Hi, my name is Josh I'm thirteen and this coming up weekend me and a friend are going to go camping on a very small island out on a pond. We are leaving with two kayaks one of which is a two person one with a lot of extra room in it. My question to you what do you think we should bring other than say tent, food, fire source, blankets/pillows, fishing equipment, two fold chairs, water/bottles. This alone will take up quite a bit of room in the kayaks and backpacks. But it still feels like I'm missing something major. (yes im bringing a phone for an emergency).Oh i just remembered we dont have to take all the stuff in one trip :P anyways that still wasn't really my question so yeah.

Answer:

It is either the battery going or it is defective. Either way it is cheap to replace.
Please, for your safety, advise your landlord. If he or she is of any worth, the problem should be restored. Occasionally this will happen if it is a heat sensing alarm. However, if it has battery back up or it is shorted somehow, it will sound off. In any case, have it checked. If the landlord refuses, notify your local fire department for inspection on their non-emergency line or your local authorities. If it is defectivwe and your landlord won't fix it, they may red tag it. Please go through your landlord first.
I actually live opposite a deaf housing association. It looks like the lights flash on and off when the phone/fire alarms are going off.
when you use the heater for the first time in the fall/winter dust bulds up on the heater coil when it comes on it can set off the smoke alarm.do make sure your smoke alarm is working properly they save lifes !!!!
time to change the battery
