Question:

Can a fire hose being sprayed on my roof damage it!!!?

My neighbors house caught fire and the fire department took my gas and electrical meters and soaked my house especially the roof! But the greatest thing is, it was in the negative temperatures all weekend. Now my roof is wavy and the insurance said the damages can not be linked to the fire. I have an old house with cedar shingles and then regular shingles over that. Does anybody know?

Answer:

I think you need to reread the news, an airliners at 62,000 ft. Honey there are pilots on there that will laugh.
never tried, don't think a swiss army knife would do the job why?
The higher the altitude, the thinner the air which means the aircraft must travel faster to stay afloat. Because the jet engines are not designed to operate in thin air, they will stall shorty after exceeding the operating ceiling which is 43,000 feet for the 777. There is no way the aircraft could have reached 65,000 feet. Not only that, the cabin pressure couldn't keep up and the oxygen masks would be deployed and there is only about 5 minutes of oxygen for a fully loaded plane. So, the theory that the plane went that high is impossible. I do believe however that the pilots may have lowered the cabin pressure in order to kill all of the passengers and cabin crew. This is clearly the doing of both pilots. I think they lowered the cabin air pressure (yes, they have control of that) and climbed to the service ceiling of 43,000 which aided in depriving the oxygen. Whether or not the masks would have come down, there is only limited oxygen for the main cabin so all they would have had to do is remain at flight level 430 for about 10 minutes and everyone would be dead. the cockpit crew have access to a longer reserve of oxygen that is separate from the main cabin. The pilots landed the plane somewhere prearranged that is supporting this operation. Where, I don't know. But I think the authorities need to be searching on land, probably a coastal airport that has minimal or no civil population. I'd imagine there is some military involvement helping the pilots or directing the pilots. There are so many possibilities.
