Question:

Can a managing member of an LLC fire and/or Sue another managing member for a tort?

The LLC is not named in the suit, I am 50% shareholder and a managing partner. Another managing partner (25%) and her husband (25%) locked me out of everything, told me I was fired, and are now suing me for tortuous interference and Ultra Vires acts. Any good arguments or precedent I can use?

Answer:

Put more cats in it. That will warm it up. Without knowing what you have around, it's hard to say what would work, except that a cardboard box would be warmer than a plastic one. Two layers of cardboard would be even warmer.
Replace batteries annually. Replace smoke detectors every 7-10 years. The newer ones have expiration dates on them. Check to see if yours has a date.
It's my understanding that you change your batteries once a year. In California ,we remember it as change on the date the time changes. You know when you loose an hour, if your in a state with day light savings time. If not change them on your birth day. Just make sure it's a day you will remember.
