can a shower drain be ran into the bottom of a 4 inch sewer pipe drain?
Even with the smoke alarm hard wired into the house it still has a battery and it sound like it needs to be changed. that is a good, cheap place to start, if that doesn't work than you will need a pro.
Do a little bit of trash digging at furniture/appliance stores or anywhere else they discard styrofoam/packaging and when you get enough sheet of styrofoam use that in the attic for insulation. You cant get any cheaper than that. But first if available , you might want to ask the store if they care if you take the discarded styrofoam. As some cities have (no scavenging) laws.
double check evertything send some one out to get/borrow another one if unsure call the fire brigrade-no joke it could just be faulty/batt low or its picking something u cant smell.buy 2next time .good luck
