my friend working in a tyre company says there is going to be truck tyre shortage.is it true ,can any one explain?

These are definitely do it yourself tasks. It's easy too because it's the same process as changing the oil filter on a car. Same as brakes. Wrenching is just as enjoyable as riding. Maintenance wrenching not repair wrenching.
For everyone, Tyre(Brit Eng) Tire (Am Eng) And there wont be any shortage for Truck tyres in India in the near future, atleast thats what my sources in MRF and APPOLLO tyres tell me. Only change that the tyre companies expect is the radialisation. Now a days the percentage of trucks running on Radial tyres are way too less. Michelin especially is waiting to see whether the radialisation improves so that they can venture again into the market. (They had a market failure at the Appollo-Michelin joint venture.)
