Question:

Can I be fired for complaining about hours at work?

I got to work today and was given a copy of an email from my manager. It stated that due to me whining and other girls at work complaining about me wanting to always switch hours with them my hours will be cut and I will not be added to the schedule for the next 2 months and that I will be on call. Oh yeah I am 27 weeks pregnant . What grounds do they have to do such a thing? Please help me!!!!!

Answer:

Alarm rating goes by how many units/firefighters respond. It has nothing to do with different stations or how many people call or how many alarms go off. The NY City Fire Department rates a 2 alarm at 25 units and 106 firefighters respond and a 3 alarm 33 units and 138 firefighters respond. And so on and so forth. Google Fire alarm rating
It depends if your going to use cast iron or pvc pipe. If you go w/ the pvc, not much at all. It also depends if your going all the way into the sewer, as if you are there's the cost of digging up the ground to get to the septic tank.
I would get a small bottle of rubber renew at a electronic supply store and some Q tips, you will also need a paper towel folded in half, take the paper out of the printer, look down the paper slot you will see 1 or 2 black or grey D shaped rubber rollers, dip the Q tip into the rubber renew, now dab the Q tip onto the paper towel, now reach in and firmly rub the pick up roller, do as much as you can, check Q tip often it will get dirty, when you use a new Q tip always dip into the rubber renew, always use a clean Q tip, you will see the rubber roller get clean and it will turn a shade or 2 lighter in colour, do the whole roller or rollers and turn the in the direction of the paper path, this will solve that problem, just be real carefull with the rubber renew NOT to touch the plastic the renew will eat it that is why I have you dab it on the paper towel every time you dip into the renew, that is how I have done this for the past 20 years, good luck.
the number of alarms is the number of different fire stations that have been called to battle the blaze. so a 5 alarm fire is so big that fire trucks from 5 different fire stations have had to be called in to fight it. so it sort of varies from place to place. a one alarm fire near a large fire station with plenty of trucks and men may be the same size as a three-alarm fire that is located by several smaller stations.
This Site Might Help You. RE: what does '5 alarm fire' mean? and also 3 alarm, etc; i'm assuming it's the higher the more serious? like a richter scale for earthquakes; but how does it break down and how high does it go?
