Question:

Can I be fired for not coming in on my day off?

I'm 15 and I have a seasonal job at a retail store. The rest of the seasonals, besides 2 others, have already finished working there. I have been told that I may get kept and become a regular employee, not just seasonal. On saturday, one of the employees was sick so I was asked to come in and cover his shift, which I did. On sunday, one of my coworkers couldn't work so he asked me to cover his shift, which I did. Today is my last day off before I have to go back to school. I was called and asked if I could come in today, but I said I couldn't. Could I get fired for this? This is the first time I've turned down a shift

Answer:

Well, first you have to convert the 300 liters of water per minute to x liters of water per second. Obviously, to do that you have to divide 300 by 60(seconds per minute). That equals 5. Now, convert 5 liter per second to x cubic meters per second. There are 1000 liters in a cubic meter. So, just take the 5 liters per second and divide it by 1000. So, the answer is 0.005. Final Answer: 0.005 cubic meters per second. By the way, a cubic meter is the cube volume with the cube's dimensions of 1 meter per edge. 1 meter x 1 meter x 1 meter as the dimensions.
You CAN'T unlock a car with a cell phone. Alarms work on RF(radio frequency), not sound. Microphones pick up sound, not RF. Therefore, since the remote for an alarm does not give off sound, but RF, the signal will not be transmitted. The video going around the net is a fake. The person in the video is CLEARLY still in range since you can see the rim from his car in the shot where he is calling the other phone and pressing the button.
