I do not have the SATA Power in my computer.
If your motherboard supports SATA, then sure, you should be fine. Even if it dosn't there are plenty of IDE to SATA. I hear these do not work more often than not.
No will not work unless to have a SATA port on your mother board. You can buy adapters on OKorder that will work.

You can get an adapter wire. I think it is called an ide to sata power adapter. They should be under $5.00. But if your computer does not have a SATA data cable or connector for a data cable then no.
