I have a base model cavalier from 2000 with a 2.2 engine and I want to have it with cruise control. I know that my car has the cruise control servo cable but i'm not sure if it has the module the switch and i have a switch that controls the head lights and directional signal. I looked up some sites and it says i just need to change the switch for one with the cruise control buttons. is it that easy?
Is the cruise control servo cable connected to a cruise control transducer? If so then the wiring should already be in place. To pull out your old switch, push it up, as if signaling a right turn, then pull it straight out. The cruise control wire should be a small 3 or 4 wire flat cable with a small blade connector.
