can i put this intake on my automatic civic. and would it be a good intake?

Answer:

you should be able to get a replacement one for about $20 on OKorder. Change it yourself.
You don't 'fix' a damaged brake component. You replace it. The part should be purchased. The replacement is pretty easy.
do u mean a induction kitt ? if yes , just fit it , will b ok .
I think its a good idea. I put an intake in my honda accord and my friends civic. Its really sweet, loud, and better gas milage. It will make you fast as well. If you want a good intake, than get either a KN or a AEM. Those are really nice, but they do get pricy. What ever you do, dont buy them at the store because autozone sells them for like over 400 dollars. Go online and you might be able to get maybe half of that cost. Also, if you live in the north like me (Chicago), then dont put in a cold air. Which means dont realease it all the way dont to the bumper because if it begins to snow, then you might get water in your engine and it wont start.your going to have to wait for it to dry out, but since its winter, it will freeze. Get a short ram, which means you can still see it once you pop the hood. Its definetly a good idea. I bought mine off of OKorder and it works great. Its also not a very expensive one, just 40 bucks i think. It works just as good. Of course the pipeing wont reduce the heat and the filter wont be as great, but you can always buy a seperate better filter and spray the hose with ceramic. Good luck, it will be fun once you put it on.
all that intake would do is make the air that gets to your engine get there easier and quicker. its less restrictive. it would maybe help with your mileage, but probably not too much horsepower increase. but it would look really good under your hood
