Can I use an ECU (PCM) from a 93 Dodge Dakota (318 5.2L, auto) in a 92 Ram (318 5.2L, Manual)?

I have a 1992 Dodge Ram D150, which intermittently stalls. The truck will not restart unless the Check Engine light comes on when I turn the key to on. If the Check Engine light does not light, it will only crank. I have traced the problem to be in the ECU/PCM because when it does stall, I press the gelatine insulation inside the ECU with my finger and hear a click behind the Air Filter Housing, which in turn kicks on the fuel rail and I am able to start the truck. I found a new computer unit which was intended to be used on a 93 Dakota (318 5.2L, Auto) and I‘m wondering if this computer will work inside my D150? Also, what other answers for this problem I may need to address. Thanks!

vapor lock in brake system ther is air in the lines will need to pressure bleed to get air buble out has nothing to do with abs abs is run on the electric side of brakes you can have your abs totaly go out and you bass brakes will be there
brake fluid chamber empty put new brake fluid in (dot 3) I pumped the breaks and it leaked out on the ground inside the left tire
Probebly low front speed sensors that was the big issues with gm truck that year with anti lock brakes take it to a dealer and spacificly tell them to give you the sensors or they will just brush them off and put them back in
Good unless you have deep ample pockets to make a 440 BB or Hemi to work with all of the sensors and keep it smog authorized, that's out, as good is about 99% of the crate motors considering those are inquisitive about carbed applications. Considering that you're lifting it, i will anticipate you're hanging larger tires on it which you are going to have to regear the axles to a lower equipment ratio. In view that its a half of ton, no bigger then a 36 or 37 tire. And i might go together with 4.88 gears. Gears are the very first thing you should bear in mind whilst you put better tires on. I have a 'ninety nine Ram with a 318, i have established a hiflow convertor, three piping again, hiflow muffler, roller rockers, Superchips programmer, headers, M1 intake manifold, low temp. Thermostat, 24# Ford Mustang injectors, and a round airfilter. I have 37 Goodyear MTRs with four.56 gears (4.88's werent out at the time i did it) and 5 suspension three physique lift. Around town the power is great, might use some extra on the highway, and within the slop it isnt all that bad. You could bore and stroke the 318's to 390 ci, the 360s to 408, 426, and even 440. The 390 and 408 will in most cases cost you around $4k+ to do it yourself or $6k+ in case you have it developed for you. Or one can find a 360 from the junkyard and simply use it.

ECM / Federal part number is 56029003 ECM / California part number is 56027851 1992 Dodge or Ram Truck D 150 Pickup V8-318 5.2L with Manual Trans. ECM / Federal part number is 53008917 ECM / California part number is 53008916 So you can see that they have completely different part number so they would not interchange. I would check the Main Relay (Computer/Fuel System) located on the left inner fender panel inside the engine compartment.
