Question:

Can I use carpet freshener with a baby in the house?

I have a 7 month old who just started crawling. We bought carpet freshener a few weeks ago not thinking about if it would be safe to use with the baby here. Is it ok? Any tips?

Answer:

carpet fresh stays in the carpet even when vaccumed i realized this when i tore old carpet out to replace it was under the carpet still so i say no dont use it
I wouldn't. I would invest in renting a steam cleaner ( $60 ) at hannaford and just giving your carpet a really deep down cleaning and then you wont even need to do it again probably for at least 6 months-1year.
I wouldn't. Try using something more natural. plain old baking soda will help remove odors.
I don't think I would. Even after vacuuming, there is probably some residue that he can pick up and then put his hands in his mouth.
I did all the time, just make sure your vacuum's sucking is up to par!! lol I have a really good vacuum though,I swear that thing could suck the floor boards out from under the carpet. My children have never had any rashes or anything from it so...
