I brought a small bumper pull camper, it needs tires and I was told I must get trailer tires for it, can I use passenger tires on it? Its doesent weigh any more than my 97 blazer?
97 Blazer weighs about 6500 pounds. That's a mighty heavy trailer. As for trailer tires, they're cheaper than standard tires, but yes, if you want to you can use them. They are as good or better than trailer tires. I don't know for certain on the costs but I'm betting they're cheaper. Just don't try trailer tires on a passenger vehicle, especially a 6500 pound blazer. G-day mate. )
I've used car tires on trailer in the past without issues. They put a weight capacity listed on the tire sidewalls, and I bet a car tire will suffice. Some trailer have small tire sizes that they don't make in a car tire size however. Get new valve stems, too.
