Do you have an indoor habitat for them or are they outside? Either way. Look for SuperSoil or sterilized potting soil that does not contain vermiculite (vermiculite (white sytrofoam looking beads) can make tortoises and turtle very sick and can kill them). Some things that work well is a combination of potting soil, sand, leaf mulch and sphagnum moss. When misted every day, it holds humidity well. SuperSoil contain all the above items and is found at Home Improvement stores in the Garden Dept. Be sure to have some standing by in case you do see new hatchlings! Hope this helps.
