Question:

Can I use the Canadian tire Dunlop sealant on my ATV tire?

I have a small hole in the tire that flattens the tire 3 days after I fill it back up. My local mechanic said he might be able to fix it, but he might not since it is such a small hole. So that makes me wonder if I can use that Dunlop sealant from Canadian tire to plug the hole. Can I?

Answer:

home depot have a metal hardener it come in a paste AB you mix the two together put this over the pipe it dry fast once it dry use some dish detergent pour over the paste when dry to check for leaks, if leaking you will see bubbles if not sealed correctly. this material if found in the paint department at home depot
plumber's putty, or Teflon tape and a cap which you can get at the hardware store best way is to disconnect it at the main pipe and use a plug.
Take the pipe of the valve and screw a plug in it. It sounds like a halve inch plug. You can pick one up at your local hardware store
just buy a tire plug kit like 5 bucks or use a product call greeen slime the pulgs work the best all you do is use some soapy water and find the hole and run the reamer thru it a couple time and then glue the plug then stick it
A tire shop should be able to fix any flat. Yes a tire sealant will help plug the hole, but if you get a real flat a tire shop may not want to work with. A plug is only a temporary fix, go to a tire shop and get a professional inside patch.
