Question:

Can low light plants thrive in high light?

Hi! (:If one were to plant both high light and low light plants, would the light need to be in bewteen the two or will the lower light plants still thrive under high light? Thanks for reading~ (:

Answer:

Light is your plants gas pedal. Low light plants just have a better ability to survive under less than ideal conditions. You can have them no problem just like anubias plants tend to grow a little algae on them because of how they grow. But high light plants offer so many colors and you can pump in the iron to get everyone red. Space is limited so I wouldn't waste time with low light plants. good luck!!!
Usually yes BUT you have to do your research: normally a low light plant that is given large quantities will thrive and grow faster, on the other hand you have plants that dont tolerate high light such as the java fern which goes transparent and dies if its given high light.
