I would like to game with it. I am currently using an out dated athlon II x4 (quad) @ 3GHz I was looking at the bulldozer and phenom lines alot of people are saying the bulldozers aren't that great I have like a price range of 120-160 dollars. I was thinking maybe the Phenom II x4 970 3 GHz or the Bulldozer quad but what are you suggestions?
you cant put a bulldozer on the motherboard you have with your athlon II x4. you'll have to settle for a phenom 970
microcenter is a trusted retailer btw. You should get a socket 1155 motherboard (H67 or P67 chipset so you can upgrade to an Ivybridge cpu when it comes out)
