Question:

Can officer of corporation file civil suit for return of property?

An employee was fired from her position. All pay stubs said corporation name. Employee worked at home and had office equipment belonging to the corporation at home office. The president of the corporation has now filed a civil suit in her personal name against the employee saying some property wasn't returned. Now, all property was returned and the employee has her on video (she was aware she was being recorded) saying that that was everything. A police officer was present at the pick-up. He is the one who asked her if that was everything. Now, my question is does she have any legal claim to that property - or should the complaint be filed in the name of the corporation? This is in PA. If any additional information is needed, just ask. Thanks in advance for any relevant help!!

Answer:

Yes because it can explode and destroy the fire hydrant
DUDE SAME okay so I'm also 17 and can't do anything. What I do is I make my parents 100% aware of my plans so that they feel very involved- this includes whom I am with, where I will be, and what I will be doing. Usually they're chill about meeting the adults, but I know many parents want to meet the parents of your friends before you hang out with them.
