I like my Boston Acoustics Solo (mono sound) alarm clock radio. It has really good sound (main reason I bought it). It has two alarm settings, which are easy to set. Each alarm can be set for music and/or a multi-pitch bleep, bleep, bleep, which follows the music alarm after something like 5 minutes. Green LEDs with bright/dim settings. Got mine at Best Buy - about $70. Boston Acoustics also makes a Duo (stereo) model for about $95 . . . and if you have an ipod, they make a model with connectivity for that - costs about $125.
