Question:

Can someone suggest foods that are high in fiber?

Doc told me I need to eat them.

Answer:

Any bread product that contains 5 grams of fiber per serving or more(Arnold's High Fiber, Alvarado Street Bakery breads, Thomas' Whole Grain English Muffins, Sahara Whole Grain Pita) Any whole-grain pasta (Barilla Plus, Ronzoni Whole Grain)Beans (chickpeas/garbanzo, pinto, kidney) Many fruits and vegetables (apricots, broccoli, figs are great!, potatoes, sweet corn - eat the peels, and stay away from juice) Popcorn (watch that the fat isn't too high) Breakfast cereals with 8 grams or more per serving (All-Bran, Kashi GoLean and GoodFriends, Barbara's Puffins) Oatmeal (I love steel cut oats) Aim for at least 20 grams fiber per day, and be sure to get in 6 - 8 glasses of water per dayOne thing your doctor may not have told you - when you increase your fiber consumption if you get gas, gas pains, or diarrhea, ease back a little and increase the amount you have each day graduallySometimes if you suddenly increase the amount of fiber in your diet, your body doesn't react as well as you'd like it to do.
The ham is precooked. So basically you are just heating the ham.So yes a baking dish should workBake at 325 for 10 to 15 minutes per pound Merry Christmas.
