Question:

Can the resistance values on the circuit board be directly measured by the universal meter?

Can the resistance values on the circuit board be directly measured by the universal meter?

Answer:

If the resistance to be measured is around and DC insulation (such as some resistance in RC filter) is available in the board of measurement, but most are with other resistance resistors, transistors, integrated circuits, diodes connected, if direct measurement will bring large error, and even lead to misjudgment.
Generally, only the voltage is measured on the line, and the resistance will be very large. The two ends of the resistor will be connected with many components
Therefore, it is not recommended to do so, or to understand the circuit, that does not have other components with current passage measurement.
