My boyfriend and I who work for the same retail company have been put through a lot of hell for dating, though they have allowed it to continue without it being a secret. We are both in equal management positions, located in two different states. To top it off, we are now having a baby and have been keeping it a secret because they have made it pretty loud and clear that if we were to further our relationship that one of us would have to go. I know as the pregnant woman here, they are going to have to be very careful about firing me, but my concern is if they have a right to fire him?Our plan was for me to leave the company and move to be where he is but they are making it sound like they would still fire him because of it. Tonight they asked him if I was pregnant, and made him promise that I wasn't and if I was they were going to have to start making arrangements. Do we have ANY rights here?
Yes. There are a variety of inexpensive, non-contact IR temperature detectors that give a single temperature reading. There are some that read a person's core temperature (through the ear) with a display. Your best (cheapest, most accurate, and widest temperature range) option is one that plugs-in to a standard multimeter and the temperature can be read as a DC voltage. Just point and read the temperature. There's a little sticker that you can put on the heat source first and then on the aerogel when taking each reading. The sticker guarantees that the emissivity of the surface measured remains constant. Keep the distances from the probe to the aim-points the same for each reading (just to be extra careful).
