Question:

Can you bake cookies on just a flat peice of aluminum foil?

because i don't have a cookie pan or cookie sheet, i lost them.all i have us aluminum foil.can i or will it burnt and break my house?

Answer:

You can weld aluminumBut you might need a MIG or TIG machine to do soThe biggest problem in forming aluminum is that it work hardens readilySome alloys are more resistant to this than others, but all work harden to some degreeSo aluminum is only fair in terms of malleabilityYou can anneal to overcome work hardening, but repeated rounds of annealing cause other kinds of work stress in the metalIf you intend to work your piece extensively by forge or hammer, you might look at sheet copper, or steel as your material.
try posting this in the correct catagory this is aircraft
It won't burn down the houseAt best you'll have ridges on the bottom from the oven rack; worst case, they will cook unevenly Give it a try and report backOK? -MM
