Question:

Can you be ticketed for parking in an unmarked fire lane on private property?

My apartment complex has very limited parking. On days I come home late there will be no spots available. On those nights I park in front of my building where there is room for 3+ cars to park that is out of the way and doesn't impede any traffic flow. I've been doing this for 3 years. I awoke the other morning to a ticket on my windshield for parking in a fire lane. I contacted the complex and they said they have no issues with me parking there when no spots are available and that they do not consider that a fire lane. They also said they have never had any other residents complain about my parking there nor have they ever had anyone be ticketed in the 50 years they've been running the complex. I'm thinking a bored cop was under his quota. Anyone ever have this happen or can give any advice? I plan on fighting the ticket especially with the complex on my side.

Answer:

I'm going to go with or whatever.
Even a well liked President would need a lot of protection these days. There are many insane people who get no help and wander our American Streets. The main threat at the inauguration was not America it was terrorist. Presidents have been well protected for years. Mr Obama is not that special welcome to The Modern world they have tried to kill rulers since man began.
If your using a flash don't take the picture facing directly at the costume. Move a little off center so the flash reflection can't bounce sstraightback at you. You could buy a ppolarizing filter for your camera lens if it will accept a filter. This will help get rid of all types of reflection.
Yes, they always fire cannons at the inaugurations. Obama's entire suit was made of a bullet proof material. I don't think that Michelle's was, nor the little girls, but they likely had a bullet proof vest - or perhaps - the whole family had bullet proff clothing - who knows. Obama's suit was discussed and it was said on television about it though. Obama messed up and started to talk before Roberts finish the first line and then after that - Roberts spoke the oath not exactly as it is written in the constitution - and it must be said exactly as written. Therefore, for the purpose of caution - they re-did it the next day at a very small gathering of witnesses. So in answer - they both messed up. I think Roberts made the bigger flub, but I think he got nervous after Obama started talking before he finished the first line.
