Can you grow Pearl Oyster Mushrooms in brown rice flour/vermiculite cakes?
i would but a mixture of vermiculite and water not too wet. you should be able to make a ball with it and it should crumble when touched you want them to be miose but not wet. and you can use a plastic container with a hole big enough for the snake to slide in and out easily in the top.
newspaper-- great easy cleanup; not that attractive wood chips (no cedar PLEASE)-- moderate cleanup; attractive however slighty risky since it could harm your cornsnake physically sand-- sand should never be used for cornsnakes astroturf-- easy cleanup, attractive
I use rain-forest substrate which is a loose absorbent bark. easy to clean up messes. Needs replaced every so often as it crumbles if it continually gets wet. Not too good if your snake has serious respiratory problems or is prone to wheeziness. Other than that, great stuff.
