Last Sat I asked about one of my detectors malfunctioning and was given good advice but ended up having to replace it. They are interconnected so I checked all of them as advised. Now there's a new twist with another one. Every time I turn my living room lamp on or off the alarm in that room beeps. The lamp is plugged into an outlet controlled by a light switch. I'm beginning to think I have an unfriendly ghost. Ha.
Specialized makes a hard core bike like you describe, but I'm not sure it's less than 500. This bike is an urban assault bike made with parts that are resilient and will take punishment. For example the rear wheel is solid rubber. Sorry don't know the exact name. I've ridden it and it was incredibly responsive. Good luck!
It shouldnt. . . Make sure you have it a ways away from it though. . usually things like candles and incense wont set it off unless you light like 50 sticks at a time. . .hahah
