Can you install a CAC reader to a Linux operating system?

I have a PS3 with an additional Linux operating system. what i want to know is if i can install a military Common Access Card (CAC) reader? thank you.

If I had a pet that bit me, dog or cat, I would get rid of it. Take it to the shelter and get a dog. Do some research on dog breeds so you know what to expect as far as energy level and temperament goes.
