Question:

can you preform a cesarean of a guppy!?!?!?

well my very pregnant female is dying and i would like to save her fry..im quite sure they are fully developed because it has been over a month since her last birth...HELP!

Answer:

if she dies then get a cup of fish tank water and put the dead body in it then squish her stomach until the fry come out but 20% whont be alive
I wouldnt try it tbh, her problems with birthing could be genetic, and even if the fry survive they might pass that genetic potential on causing an ever increasing percentage of birth failures.
IF, on only IF the guppy dies before she has the babies, there is one possible method for saving the fry; This will only work if you do it right after (we're talking minutes here) she dies. Keep the guppy in the tank but hold her in one hand. With the index finger of your other hand, gently rub her belly near the gravid spot. I have only known this to work a few times, but it has never worked for me. Keep in mind that any fry you manage to save will be very weak and probably deformed, as this is an un-natural birthing. Many will not make it to adulthood, unfortunately. Good luck, and hope this info helps
quite impossible and even if it was it would be too risky for a fish, letalone guppy
i really would not, because it would be cruel, unless you know how to put her under and not be awake, the fry would probly not survive anyways, you never know she might just have the or some of them befor she dies I Hope that she survives and she has the fry:D
