Question:

Can you wash flats in a whirlpool duet front loader washing machine?

my flats are really dirty. not on the outside, but on the inside. the inside is really smelly and dirty, and i want to wash them in our brand new whirlpool duet front loader washing machine, but i don't want to make dents in the washer. they are kinda heavy but not too heavy, and they are the kind that would make dents in the dryer but i'm not going to put them in the dryer. I want to know if they will make dents in the washer and if washing them in cold water (don't want to heat up the glue) and w/o using detergent (don't want to ruin flats) will bother glue. if not, what speed cycle should i put it on and what category should it be under out of: quick wash, hand washables, delicate, normal (casual), bulky items, heavy duty, sanitary, drain/spin, rinse/spin, or soak.Thank you for your answers. Any info is really appreciated, but complete answer to all or most Q's will be given 10 points.please donquot;t vote for best answer 'cause i could use as many answers as I can get.thanks

Answer:

yea of course you can wash you flats in a whirlpool duet front loader washing machine!
I was like you until recently, couldn't decide between top or front loader. I ended up getting a front loader haven't looked back. It's a beauty! Washes extremely well doesn't use much water. It is a 7kg, plenty big enough but I would have preferred a faster spin speed than 800rpm I do advise getting a machine that measures the amount of water required for the load. I will never go back to a top loader. All the best!!!
