Question:

car alarm question?

i want to install an alarm on a 1969 chevrolet chevelle but im not sure what to look for.

Answer:

some older cars have zerk fittings for grease but most have NO servicable parts,,, tie rod ends,,ball joints,,shocks [or struts] usually last 80 to 100K,,,most others are finished at 125,000 or so
well, dont even try to install it yourself.get an autoelectrition to do it, it will save a lot of hastle and you will have a garentee.
I look for directions when I install something. You want a pager alarm. Something that will let you know when your car is being entered or damaged. Pair that up with a firearm and you've got a anti-theft duo that's hard to beat. You may also want to look into a GPS system that will locate your car if stolen (like lojak).
