Question:

Car alarms, please kindly help?

I have a 2004 Honda Accord and I have a car alarm installed in it back in 2004. It‘s an aftermarket alarm I believe. How long do alarms usually last for, and if they no longer work, can you leave them in the car or do you have to have a professional take out the car alarm? What if you leave it on there, does it affect the running of the car in any way? Thanks!

Answer:

They dont have any tranny problems. You want tranny problems go to ford or gm.
well i own 2005 dodge under 60,000 already on third trans seem like 1st gear clutches first time trans pump 2nd good luck but yea i hear from my trans guy they fail
Their built to handle power. Never heard of anyone having a problem with the Charger trannys. Dodges have little problems if any and last for ever.
Car alarms typically simply open the start circuit of the vehicle if it detects a theft. You can leave it in and it will not hurt the vehicle, but it could at come point open the start circuit when you don't want and the car won't start. I would remove it personally if it is starting to act up and splice the start circuit back together.
