Car issue: Is this a mechanical problem or something else?

I have a 2000 Kia Sephia my speed dial hand is going crazy up down constantly, my over drive light on the dash bored is flashing on off constantly plus my check engine light is on when I had it checked out they said it was saying it has a large vacumn leak but after taking it to 3 different mechanic's none of them could find a leak. What is going on with my car if its the cables how can I check them?

Answer:

you need an electrician to come take a look at your car, ask him to diagnose the electric out let and wiring from and to the ECU computer , from there he will tell you either fix or replace the ECU computer could be where the problem is.
speedometer is controlled by a sensor located on the tranny, fix that and the dial should quit bouncing around. as for the vacuum leak, take soapy water and spray it around your intake manifold, any connections that penetrate the manifold and all accessories attached to it. then inspect all hoses that are vacuum related. also there could be a vacuum leak in the gas tank, some cars are equipped with sensors on the tank. also note that the speedometer may be cable controlled, in which case just replace the cable- easier said than done.
