About an hour ago I woke up and heard beeping and my boyfriend said it was the carbon monoxide detector downstairs. It beeped a few times quickly, stopped for 5-10 seconds, and then beeped again. After about 5 minutes of this it became one long beep. My boyfriend noticed that the detector was slightly knocked out of the outlet. We realized that the cats had just been over there and may have bumped into it. We took it out and plugged it back in and then it stopped beeping and the green light went on. None of the other detectors have gone off. Do we have anything to worry about?
I found that if my daughter or son was near me during sleep i got really freaked out about them not breathing, if I was awake when they were asleep all I done was check in on them and disturbe their sleep. Theres so much advice and rules ie, if you smoke its not a good idea (which my husband is even though he was made smoke outside breathing in his sleep near the baby was a problem), if you turn in your sleep its not a good idea etc. Its a nice idea if you can follow all the rules and you dont constantly disturbe them. I found crib was alot easier, but its all down to how you feel in yourself.
I enjoy sleeping with my son to a point he is now 4 and we have a hard time with alone time he had a bed in our room to ween him out he was always back with us by the end of the night. my husband works swing shifts and the rule is when dad and mom are both home he sleeps by him self but I feel this is a bit unfair cause he's alone now I do enjoy talking to him when he gets in bed with us things he talks about at 3 in the morning I miss him being a baby as a tear rolls down my eye they grow so fast
Agree, I find them funny, backstage with mae young, commentery
I think it is great! More so if you are breastfeeding! I always started with my little ones in their own bed and when they woke up for a middle of the night feed they would just stay with me. I am lucky though that 4 of my 5 were sleeping through the night within the first 3 months. My daughter who is 2 years old - and I have a daytime nap together most days for a few hours and I always just take her in my bed with me. We cuddle and sing songs and then I tell her to close her eyes now for sleep time and she snuggles up to me and goes to sleep - I love it!
