Even the best visors can fog up; that slight brief second of fogginess can be bad when the game is on your stick. Another reason is that players appear tougher without them. This is why almost no defensive men wear them. Example: Who appears tougher if you saw them at first glance? Alexander Ovechkin (with visor) or Jason Smith (without) Despite the fact Ovechkin's skills put him in a different ball park, Jason Smith is more intimidating. These gritty visorless players may even intimidate some players from trying to split the D on their watch. Testosterone aside, I think visors should be required.
