Question:

Cellphone car chargers?

Hi, I want to know if using a car charger to recharge a cellphone's battery will really decrease the battery's life?

Answer:

I have never heard of that! It is my understanding that battery memory is a thing of the past (in most cases), and charging a battery before it is fully discharged is not going to make the battery die sooner.
No it will not, as long as you will not over charge your cellphone your battery life will stay as it is.
sure why no longer? yet use on condition that u tournament under specs in any different case might ur cellular harm or automobile stereo could have potential subject. enter: a hundred-240V, 50-60 Hz. a hundred and sixty mA Output: DC 4.8 - 12V :)
not to my knowledge. I charge my phone in the car sometimes and I haven't noticed any difference actually this is the first time I am hearing about that
Hi there, Not if you use the original manufacturer's car charger (ex: Motorola car charger for a Motorola phone, Nokia charger for a Nokia phone, etc). Most have limiter circuits that prevent power surges coming in from the alternator or anything else in the car's electrical system that would damage the phone or the battery. Hope this helps!
