AFC WEST CHAMPS?? Is that true for the Chargers? If so what does that mean?
Yes it's true, what it means is they won the AFC Western Division. In each Confrence there are 4 divisions, the North, East, West and South Divisions, and in the AFC the Chargers won the AFC West Division.
first it means they're in the playoffs as a division champion this means they can be no less than the #4 seed in the playoffs.(the wildcards are always #5 and 6) this assures sandiego of atleast one home playoff game. if they win 2 out of 3 remaining they secure a first round bye which teams cherish because of the rest it gives their players.only bad news for the chargers is away from home their defense gives up too much points.

That's right! My Chargers clinched the AFC West on Sunday with a win over the Denver Broncos. The Kansas City Chiefs also lost which gave the Bolts made the Chargers champs of the AFC West, They are also currently the #1 seed in the AFC. They can get home field advantage with wins over KC and ARZ as well as losses to the Ravens I think. GO BOLTS! SUPER BOWL BOUND!
