How do you think that the game Chargers vs. Patriots will turn out?
I think it will turn out being A LOT closer than everyones thinks. Hey danjman3000, some Patriot that no one has ever heard of was talking trash (or as ESPN called it making a joke) about come Chargers players today, which is exactly the same as what Igor Olshansky (a player you might want to get to know) said and did - he was joking just as much as the NE player.
This is a real tough one for me to call to be honest with you. My gut feeling is saying the Chargers because they have been playing outstanding football lately. But the Pats have been playing outstanding football all season. and they certainly SHOULD win. The Patriots and Brady know how to pick apart a defense. The wide receiver corps is amazing, even if the the Chargers shut down Moss they have Gafney, Welker, and Stallworth to go to. The corners are awfully good on SD however. But they do only have average safeties which could be the difference maker, Brady can dink and dunk to Welker and Watson all day. The Chargers are really banged up but not as bad as people think. LT will most likely play. He will most likely share carries though and this could be a good thing. Their backups to LT have been phenomonal this year. Rivers isn't the QB everyone makes him out to be. His O-line, LT, and good wide receivers make him look good. So any quarterback, whether Rivers plays or not, will have a decent game. But the Patriots are just too good and are riding a great thing. They are gonna come prepared and have to play their backsides off to win this game. I think they will though after all is said and done. The Chargers stay in it till the very end but I'm going Pats 35-28
I really do think many people are underestimating what the Chargers can pull off. Just look how good they've been doing on the road! I think the Bolts are going to hold it down first half. Patriots come back big time in third quarter and Chargers fight back 4th quarter. Merriman is gonna knock some sense into Tom Brady
Chargers are going to take it. They have such an aweomse defense. If we can beat the Super Bowl Champs from last year we can definitely stop that weasel tom brady. I dont doubt for one minute that the chargers are incapable of beating the patriots. When it comes to football ANYTHING can happen. No one thought the chargers would make it this far and look how good they are doing. It is a definite possibility
