ok so i have a 2005 chevy aveo basic model (automatic, no power windows or anything). the fuel pump went out and we just go tit replaced by a family friend who is a mechanic and long story short i just got it home and as i was driving it home the check engine light came on. i dont know if its just because of the new pump and i just need to give it some tine or what. the car runs strong and there is nothing else mechanically wrong with it. so is there a way to reset it or does anyone have any ideas? thanks in advance :)
If you go to Autozone or Advanced Auto they will come out and scan it for free and tell you what the code is. My guess is P0456 e-vap system leak low Could be a gas cap or, He had a bunch of hoses off when he did the job. Vacuum leak of some sort-
