If a double-pipe heat exchanger operates co-currently, how does the characteristics of the exchanger would be affected??
Temperature and flow rate measurements are made every 0.25 s and are reported and recorded at prescribed time intervals, usually 1 s intervals. The computer interface can also provide status information...... Hope it helps, all the best....
In co-current flow the inlet end temperature difference between the two fluids is maximum and at the out let end minimum. This makes for decreasing heat transfer/unit area along the length. In counter current flow this difference is evened out to a large extent.
