Question:

What motherboards could support the eight core AMD Bulldozer processors?

What motherboards could support the eight core AMD Bulldozer processors?

Answer:

Any AM3+ board will and some AM3 boards will with a BIOS update, although they won't be able to fully utilize them. Good catch, Citizen. I didn't realize that the AM3+ socket had already been fragmented like that.
persist with Intel and the i5-3570k, getting an AMD motherboard and the 8150 may well be a downgrade..... The 8350 Vishera CPU on the different hand is a no longer common call to make in case you game and multitask/ video encode etc....... seeing as its basically Gaming...... pass Intel.
Not all AM3+ will support 8 core because some chipsets (760 for example) will only support the lower power 95W versions. My understanding is the 8 core will be 125W. With an 890FX, AMD guarantee support for all Bulldozer processors.
Any of the AM3+ boards and SOME of the AM3 boards (without a + sign). Check the specific board you are thinking about with the manufacturer site and see if they say it will support bulldozer.
