Question:

chevy suburban new rear axle?

i saw a truck on craigslist that says it needs a new rear axle and i was wondering what exactly this means. he said the part is about $600. do i have to get it towed to get it fixed im assuming? how much is installation for this part roughly? its a 1993 chevy suburban 1500 4x4

Answer:

automobiles and suburbans share alot of the climate. as long because it particularly is a million/2 ton or 3/4 ton lead them to tournament. it particularly is a GM company 10 bolt rear. there are hundreds of them around. will no longer be able to have faith they're difficult to discover.
never buy any car or truck if you need to work on it alot smarter and since youre asking about axle you dont know hgow to replace it so better to look more axle not hard to repalce and yes cant drive it with out one and cal a aprts store axle dont cost that much unless we talking whole unit and someone replcaing like at a shop replacing whole unit really not much harder to do at home
its just some crappy old chevy 10 bolt axle you can find them in any junkyard or just about anywhere for 100-200 bucks. they really arent that hard to replace. take driveshaft off. cut ubolts off, diconnect brake lines and its off
